GET FORM ‘C’ WITHOUT ANY HASSLE

The Maharashtra Sales Tax Department is moving with the world. The department has started a separate website http://www.mahavat.gov.in for issuing various forms related to Sales Tax. The services from this site will be available from 2nd Feb. 2009 and shall be available only for dealers who have opted for e-services.

The dealers will have to make online application and will get the desired forms at their own office free of cost within 10 days from the date of application. This facility is available for the forms for the period from 1st March 2008 onwards. Forms for the period earlier to 1st March 2008 shall be distributed as per existing system of distribution till 31.03.2009.(Trade Circular No. 2T/23/1/2009)

    From which state you are? If from Maharashtra, see on left sidebar of my website & click on Maharashtra under VAT menu. Here u will get it, or if you are from other state then go to the VAT website of respective state.

    You will get it on the Maharashtra Vat website mentioned in above or else visit nearest Sales Tax office.
