I worry more and more about civil unrest. And the people who have put many mortgage payments on high interest personal loans, and the people who put 60 percent down, still owe 40% but their down payment more than covered the value of the property, the people who paid off their homes at the inflated rate, the pension fund investors who have no retirement to sustain themselves, the municipalities that continue the ostrich approach budgeting with figures in the billions based on their investments in AAA-rated MBS, and all of us. how this happened and continues to happen.
